Welcome to the Faculty Guide at the Parrott Centre!

The library is here to support the whole Loyalist community - our students, our faculty, and our staff. This guide brings together resources on a variety of subjects, including:

As a Loyalist faculty or staff member, you have access to all of our library resources and services, including:

  • Interlibrary loan

Accessing Resources Off Campus

Can't make it in to the library during our regular hours? Our electronic collections are available for use 24-7, wherever you have Internet access! You can access our eBook, audiobook and video streaming collections, as well as our online journals and databases quickly and easily. You can also renew library books with just a few simple steps.

How can I access these collections?
Visit our website,, and start searching.  If you are using our website from off-campus you'll be prompted to login with a library/student number and password. Once you've logged in, you're ready to go.

I don't have a library number or password, what should I do?
Stop into the library with some ID, and we'll be happy to look up your information. Don't have an account? We can set one up for you with just a few clicks. (*current employment status must be verified by Human Resources.)
